Wow!! I can't believe it is already October. Where has the time flown since August. My apologies to everyone out there that have been patiently waiting for new pictures and updates to the web blog The only time I have to blog is when I am at work or late at night after Em is asleep. (but for some reason she always seems to wake as soon as I get the computer up and running.)
So what have the Rheaume's been up to down here in Louisiana. Since August Rob has been very busy (as usual) with work. There have been lots of evening that Em and I have not even seen him before heading off to bed.
In the month of September Rob was away for a couple of weeks then upon his return I went away for two weeks out to California. Have to say I really wouldn't mind living out there. BEAUTIFUL!!! But to be gone from my daughter that long was really hard on me and I missed her terribly. Next time she is just going to have to come with.
Rob and Em did make it out one weekend to Cali to visit while I was there and we had a great time. I will post some pics later on of the trip.
Now its October and Halloween is right around the corner. Can't believe Em will be 10 months in a couple of weeks. She has already started to take steps without holding on to anything or one. Soon she will be running around. (just like her Mom I guess.)
All in all we are doing great and very busy. But pictures are being uploaded today for everyone to check out.
Miss everyone like crazy, take care and talk to you all soon.

San Diego September 2007
Rob and Emma came out to see me for the weekend while in San Diego. While visiting, we went to the famous Sunset Cliffs, Ocean Beach and Coronado island. It was a load of fun. Here are some pics of our trip!
Watching those pesky seagulls begging for a crumb.

Labor Day Weekend - September 2007
Our home away from home. This is the camper we bought this past year for the many times that we go camping. This will be our second camping trip this year. But it sure as heck beats sleeping in a tent on an air mattress.
Hey isn't there suppose to be water under here?
Aaron catches the first fish of the trip. Way to go big guy!!
Jim on the other hand is "THE FISHERMAN".
He has to be in order to stand in that freezing cold water.
We all had a great time. Looking forward to camping next year!!

Emma at the spray pad - August 11, 2007
We took Emma to the spray pad at the park here in Slidell on Saturday. She had a great time but was also overwhelmed with all the new things she saw. She was looking around the entire time trying to grasp everything that was around her.
She was the only one playing in the water. So it was nice to have the area to ourselves.

No matter how hard I tried to get a picture with her smiling, as soon as I caught one the camera took too long to snap the shot. If this picture could speak to you, it would probably be saying "Wow don't I look thrilled!"

June 27th, 2007
Hi everyone,
I am blogging from work today as Rob has the computer with him on his trip. So just a note, but video and pictures will follow later on... soon.
So Emma is still not sitting up by herself, nor is she crawling, BUT she can pull herself to a standing position when holding your hands. She gets very excited and proud of herself when she does this too. She squeals with delight.
Yesterday she and I were outfront watering the bushes and flowers that we planted. She pulled herself up and started walking her feet in front of herself. This is a new milestone for her. (eventhough the poor thing has absolutely no balance). I was still very proud of her as only a "new" mommy would be. (she was also very proud of herself). So that is her new thing. Walking while holding your hands. Before I know it she will be running out the front door with Casper. As soon as I am able to juggle the camera and her hands I will get the pictures and video of her new feat.
The 4th is coming and we are expecting Nana & Papa to come down with my neices Nora and Jessica. Can't wait to see them. I'm sure we will have tons of pictures to post after their visit. We are planning a trip to the Alligator ranch and will be having a pool party on the 4th. So stay tuned for more to come....

June 19th, 2007
It's Tuesday and Emma is on her second day back in day care. Unfortunately the girl we hired for home care wasn't able to handle our little one and her little one together. So after searching for someone else, which was not successful we decided to put her back into day care. We are hoping her immune system is stronger and she will not get sick anymore. We will see.
We went camping for the first time over Memorial Day Weekend up by Nana and Papa's. Then Emma and I had to go to Chicago for the following weekend for a funeral. She finally got to meet her Uncle Jimmy, and her mommy's best friend - Auntie Andrea. We also got to meet my Uncle Danny and Aunt Joann. It has been a good 20years almost since I had seen them last. Emma got to meet her second cousins Michael and John. She really liked John. He made her laugh everytime he talked to her.
Although we went up for other than desirable circumstances we got to see family and friends. Another trip in the cooler weather would be great. I will see what I can do everyone. But we still have to get up to Vermont sometime soon while Emma is still considered a baby. Rob's family hasn't had a chance to meet her yet, but then no one has come down yet either.. HINT HINT!!!
Since we have been home and back to a somewhat normal schedule we have been swimming at the neighbors pool, going for walks and playing at home.
Rob and I even got to go out last weekend and had a babysitter for the night. Haven't done that in months. It was a good night too.
Father's day we went to a cook out at Petey and Galen's house. Went swimming. Emma is going to be our olympic swimmer. She absolutely loves the pool. I think she is going to learn to swim before she learns to crawl.
I hope this find that everyone out there is doing great. Don't be strangers.

Chicago trip 2007
Portage Park with Uncle Jimmy. My first time going down a slide. I have to say I was a little scared. Heck Uncle Jimmy looks a little scared too...
Look at me sitting up by myself in the grass. I am such a Ham sandwich.

Having a girls lunch date with Reenie.
On the swings with mommy.
Look at me.. I loved the swings.
Kisses for Uncle Jimmy.

Memorial Day Weekend 2007
Hey ya like my sunglasses? I loved them. Now my daddy's hat is a whole other ball of wax that I won't even try to explain!
Early morning coffee time with my Nana. Even though it rained the whole weekend, I loved spending time with my Nana and Papa.

Whew... I was tired ya'll. This was our trip home in the truck and I was exhausted from the weekend.
