Four wheelin December 2007

Emma was already to go 4-wheelin. She didn't care how cold it was outside she wanted on that 4-wheeler.

Saddle up and ready to go. Rob & Emma are ready to roll. Rob said that when he got back and took her off, she threw herself down on the ground and cried herself into a trantrum because she wasn't ready for it to be over. (despite her little cheeks and nose where frozen.

Pony Ride - December 2007

Emma was quite the busy girl over the holidays. After shopping & lunch with Nana, Auntie Christine and Mommy, she was up on the pony that this nice man had brought out to the shopping center and was riding around the field.

Emma's 1st Birthday Party

I had the best 1st birthday.
I had a banner with my name on it.

We had lots of balloons and decorations!

I had a balloon that sang "Happy Birthday"
And I even had balloons on my chair. This is my birthday cake.
I got my own "smash" cake.
This is my Papa.
We was making really yummy finger foods on the grill.
This is my friend Logan from day care.
He really liked the tricycle mommy and daddy bought me.

This is my friend Noah.
He was the only one who would wear a birthday hat.

I got lots of presents.

My mommy helped me unwrap them all.

We all played games like "stick the tail on the donkey".

I wasn't too far off from where it was suppose to go. It was fun.

And I loved my cake.

I sure smashed it but I smashed it right into my mouth. I almost ate the whole thing too.

I even shared it with my daddy. He liked the cake too.

My Nana was there too, but she was taking all of the pictures and didn't get a picture of her and I together. Maybe on my actual birthdate we will take one and post it.

December 7th & 8th, 2007

I took this of Emma on Friday morning before Rob took her to daycare. We bought these big plastic ornament balls for the bottom of the tree for her to play with. As you can see... being the big cheez herself, she loves them.

This was Emma's party dress for her 1st Christmas party at Rob's command. She looks just like my mom here when my mom was this age.

Rob and Em at the party talking it up with another guest. (Not shown)

Emma had a blast playing in the balls.

She even went into the jump around play area while the big kids were waiting for Santa to pass out gifts. Rob and I jumped around her and made her bounce. Looks like we may have to get one of these for her bday pary next year.

Although this picture isn't in complete focus it still shows just how much she like sitting on this Santa's lap. I think Santa actually enjoyed terrorizing the kids. Hopefully we will be able to get her on Santa's lap at the mall and get a happier shot. (We'll see)

December 2007

It's Christmastime everyone. My favorite time of the year. For those of you that have been getting that white stuff... what's it called again.. oh yes that's right, SNOW!!!, I would like you to know it is 75 today on December 7th here in the deep south of Louisiana. LOVELY!!!
I know I am what they would call a ... well you know what to fill in.

Took some pictures of Em in front of the tree this morning and will hopefully be able to post them later tonight if my internet is working. She was very cute, as always.

Rob is back intown and we are going to finish decorating the house this weekend. Next weekend we are celebrating Em turning the big OOOHHHH ONE (1). A little early but with Santa visiting her 4 days after her actual birthdate this will hopefully separate the two for her. (Not that she would know the difference for the next few years... but whatever.)

We have a children's party tomorrow afternoon we are going to. I think Emma will have a great time playing with the other kids, and hopefully if Santa shows up to do a little face time with the little ones... we might get her picture taken with him. (I will also get it posted if it happens)

So with more posting to come later on. Taa taa for now.

November 28th, 2007

Its Wednesday November 28th. I can't believe this month is already over. CRAZY!!!!
After Em and I got back from Chicago earlier this month, she immediately came down with RSV and was one sick little girl. She then passed the crudd on to Dad when he came home and now I believe I have it. Got to love having the swap around of germs and colds. Hopefully neither one of them will get it again.

We went up to my parents for Thanksgiving. It was a really nice and quiet weekend. Em and my mom got a whole day together while Rob, Dad and I went 4-wheelin. I think they had a good time. We had a good time 4wheelin. Rob would love it if I got my own, but I think I will take a pass on it. I like 4-wheelin, but I was definitely sore for a few days afterward.

Unfortunately I don't have any pictures to up load from the weekend as my camera was on the fritz and was not able to take any. But I think I may have fixed it this morning. Time will tell.

Up next is Emma's 1st birthday, and Christmas. Starting this weekend we will be busy every Saturday through the New Year. My parents are going to make the trip down for Emma's b-day party the weekend of the 15th. (we are having it early since her day is so close to Christmas) Then its back up to Missouri for Christmas. My brother from Chicago will be coming down with his fiancee and possibly my sister and her husband may make it up there. Should be in for a crowded, loud, and fun time.

We are trying to get as much family time as possible before next year, as we never know what is going to come about with Rob's job. Just wish more family would come and visit us down here. (hint...hint...) But I guess it is just not meant to be, Huh?

Hope everyone has had a good Thanksgiving.
More later......

Veteran's Day Holiday Weekend

This blog is going to take two entries as there are a few too many pics to post in one entry.
These are from our visit at Auntie Andrea's house with my childhood/adulthood friends (20+ years) and their kids.

Emma with a boa around her neck. I have no idea where or how she got this on her. But a cute pic non-the-same. Adeline Walsh - Auntie Andrea's only little princess (for now)
"Hey Mom can you pack my bottle in my suitecase when I leave for college. Thanx"
Here the boys are showing us how well they can cope in the kitchen.
Our sweet little Auggie. How he likes his hats. (check out the Walsh's blog for more of Auggie's Dapper style)

Oliver and Xavier (the twins and Emma's future boyfriends) I have to say she took a liking t both of the little cuties. She loved pulling XJ around by his cool helmet and consistantly put her head on Oliver's belly and chest. She is such a flirt.

Veteran's Day Holiday Weekend Part 2

Emma and I went up to Milwaukee Wisconsin while up North to visit her cousins, Jacqueline, Jessica and Nora. The girls were so bowled over by Emma. Although Em can walk they all wanted to carry her around. (to which Em was not really a party to)

GymRompers

I put Emma and I into a Gym Rompers class once a week in the evening so that we could have a little fun time together. She loves going and playing on the little kids gym equipment. And now that she is walking she is all over the place. The one thing I think she really enjoys is group time. She sits so nicely in the circle and sings and claps to the songs we sing as a group. Here she is showing how big she is getting by climbing up the slide.

As you can see she is very pleased with herself.

Going through the tunnel is no problem for this little girl.

Halloween 2007

The weekend before Halloween we carved pumkins. Since it was just Em and myself this year, I only carved two pumpkins. One with Em's name in it and she seemed to like it. and the other one that it shown.
Em also painted her own pumpkin this year.

On Halloween day, Em did not wear her costume to day care but did wear it that night as she and I went around the neighborhood for a short walk. I did not get to take to many pictures as we were out walking just the two of us and she was mostly impressed with standing in her stroller.
